The lands are located in the North of Patagonia, Province of La Pampa, where the big and small game can be practiced in their two estancias: "El Oasis" and "La Tranquila", separated between themselves by a 27 mile distance. Such fields are inhabited by the only calden woods worldwide. The calden is a tree that only grows in this South American sector and, in our case, it coexists with other trees and bushes that are very typical of this semidesert area. The founder and first member of the family, owner of these lands since almost 100 years, decided to name one of these lands El Oasis inspired as he was by the many waterholes and lagoons on his property, creating a truly colorful and picturesque landscape. Since the beginning of exploitation, these fields were inhabited by livestock of different types and, little by little, the red deer and wild boar, introduced for sports purposes, coexisted with the native species such as the American lion or puma, ñandú (South American ostrich), guanaco and other different varieties of small animals and birds.

In addition to the 25,000 acres of El Oasis, La Tranquila has a surface of 12,500 acres and its fields are drier and with thicker bushes than El Oasis which makes hunting a more difficult task.

El Oasis has an antique house that was built at the turn of the 19th century reflecting the typical style of the architecture of that time. It has a comfortable living room, a large dining room, four bedrooms, two toilets and everything that you need for a perfect stay.

La Tranquila is buried deep in the heart of the thick forest where adult deer and wild boar live. It has a warm living room where you can spend good times after hunting, four bedrooms, two toilets and an outdoor corridor where you can enjoy good evenings and the "mate", the typical Argentine warm drink.

Hunt includes:
  • Comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere.
  • Full accommodation.
  • Airport pickup in Buenos Aires or Santa Rosa.
  • Typical Argentine gastronomy: barbecue, Angus beef, pork "chorizos" (highly-seasoned pork sausage), salamis and cheeses, among other delicious foods.
  • Excellent wines from Mendoza valleys, a province located northwest from El Oasis with the best wine production in Argentina.
  • Laundry service.
  • Internet in El Oasis.

RED DEER (CERVUS ELAPHUS)

The red deer is our main big game and the most searched trophy. Geography and climate combine to assure an ideal environment for red deer. The red deer lives in wooded areas, mainly matured forests, that contribute to a perfect hiding. During rut season, from the beginning of March to the end of May, the roars of competing stags may be heard throughout El Oasis and La Tranquila as they attempt to attract and defend a harem of 10-15 females. Both El Oasis and La Tranquila have a population of over 400 adult females that live permanently in our fields. There are two well-differentiated populations. One of them lives in the northwest and the other in the southeast; so we can say that El Oasis and La Tranquila are roaring fields.

WILD BOAR (SUS SCROFA)

Wild boars live near mud wallows where they spend most of the day. They can be seen gathered in groups of about 15-20 animals led by a strong adult male one. They are mainly seen at dawn and dusk in search of food. They are mostly hunted from blinds or, during full moon, they can be stalked on foot. Hunting is allowed year round, and takes place at night.

PUMA (FELIX CONCOLOR)

The puma is an exceptionally successful generalist predator, which chooses to live in habitats with dense vegetation, like our fields. They are hunted from blinds, and hunting is allowed year round. The best time for their hunting is during summer when females are in estrus.
